EVA – ETHYLENE VINYL ACETATE

Properties of Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA)

Ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) is the copolymer of ethylene and vinyl acetate and has a melting temperature of 93-98°C. EVA, made of ethylene vinyl acetate, has a wide range of applications with its flexible structure and high resistance to impact.

Ethylene vinyl acetate is both heatproof and coldproof. It is also recyclable since it is an environment friendly product. The proportion of vinyl acetate in the content determines what kind of properties ethylene vinyl acetate, which is widely used in the industry, will reveal. As the vinyl acetate ratio increases, the hardness of ethylene vinyl acetate decreases. When the hardness decreases, the material becomes more flexible and this flexible structure is used for the toughening of the polymers. Ethylene vinyl acetate with a high surface quality has a transparent and colorless appearance.

It is easy to handle and can be handled the second time. In addition, ethylene vinyl acetate provides a dimensional stability. Since it is produced from polyurethane with the lowest density, it is light and therefore, it is widely used.

Uses of Ethylene Vinyl Acetate

Ethylene vinyl acetate, which is very popular in the industry with its good quality and robust structure, can be used basically in following areas:

  • Hotel slippers
  • Promotional items
  • Shoes – slippers companies
  • Automotive supply industry companies
  • Transportation companies
  • Defense industry companies
  • Bag production companies
