PPC – Injection
PP or polypropylene, a thermoplastic polymer, is a product that is used in many industries and has been improved over the years. It is categorized into three groups: Homopolymer polypropylene, Random Copolymer Polypropylene, and Copolymer Polypropylene (in other words PPC).PPC performs very well against impact even at low temperatures.
PPC Characteristics
Its specific gravity is low while the abrasion resistance of PP is very high. It is also very resistant against the chemical solvents. Used in chemical tanks, automobiles, furniture, chemical valves and pump parts in the construction and white appliances sector. It is resistant to the fatigue and its coefficient of friction is very low. Injectable copolymers are processed with PPC Injection.
PPC Products
Copolymers, in other words, Type 2 polypropylenes, are among the most widely used plastic raw materials in the world. Ppc injection signifies the formation of copolymer polypropylene in the injection machines. Plastic PPC is used in the production of Pipe, Plastic PPC Film, and Plastic PPC Injection. Propylene is also suitable for the production of bottle, kitchen and laboratory materials since it provides a high strength.
PPC Injection
The injection process can be described as following; the melted and softened material is molded under high pressure and shaped in the molds, the liquid plastic fills the mold and the material is kept in the mold until it cools down and finally the product is removed from the mold. In this process, injection parameters, mold design, as well as the material selection, are important. The injection mainly consists of the filling, ironing, and cooling, the purpose is producing high-quality and mass production.
