What is Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE)

Linear Low Density Polyethylene, produced with different technologies, can be at standard and medium density levels by providing low gel levels. Since it ensures a high output rating for all the injection and extrusion technologies, it is suitable for pharmaceutical and food standards.

The melting point of Linear Low Density Polyethylene is typically 105-115° C. Accordingly, it can be used continuously between 105 – 115° C.

The most significant characteristics and advantage of Linear Low Density Polyethylene are that it is remarkably resistant against impact. Since it has a linear structure, it presents different properties from other Polyethylene types. Its tensile strength and level of elongation are higher than the other types.
